Surface Prep Work in Atlanta, GA

From the industrial corridors along I-285 to job sites in every corner of the metro, Atlanta work is a regular part of our schedule. Commercial, industrial, municipal, fleet — if it needs blasting, coating removal, or surface prep, we’ve likely done the same job somewhere in the metro already.

Two things make Atlanta distinct. There is a genuine aerospace and heavy manufacturing presence around the Dobbins corridor, which brings precision structural and equipment work. And there is a lot of older building stock, particularly around Atlanta Square, where the substrate underneath the paint is often masonry, brick or soft historic metal rather than modern steel. Those jobs call for the gentlest method that will still do the work, which is usually dry ice or a carefully dialled dustless setup.

Atlanta, GA Questions

Do you work inside the Perimeter?

Yes — ITP and OTP. A lot of our metro work is warehouses, plants, parking structures, and contractor sites near the interstates, but if the job fits the rig we’ll come to it. We schedule around building hours and site access requirements.

Can you blast on an active construction site?

Yes. We coordinate with general contractors and other trades regularly — containment, scheduling around pours and inspections, and keeping our work area tight are standard practice on metro jobs.

How do you keep dust down on tight urban sites?

Method selection does the heavy lifting: dustless blasting knocks dust down with water right at the nozzle, and dry ice leaves no spent media at all. Where the site calls for it we add physical containment — and the area is clean when we roll out.
